SOLVEX® Total Hip Prosthesis System

The SOLVEX® Total Hip Prosthesis System is a modular, high-performance implant solution designed to restore hip function in patients with osteoarthritis, fractures, or degenerative joint conditions. With advanced material technology and modular flexibility, this system enables surgeons to address a wide variety of clinical scenarios with precision.

System Components

Femoral Stem

  • Made from Cobalt-Chrome-Molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloy for optimal strength, load transfer, and biocompatibility.

  • Available in both cemented and cementless versions to suit patient-specific bone quality.

  • Cementless stems feature porous or hydroxyapatite coatings to support osseointegration and long-term biological fixation.

  • Modular design allows the selection of different sizes and geometries to achieve an anatomical fit.

Femoral Head

  • Constructed from CoCrMo alloy for high durability and smooth articulation.

  • A range of diameters and neck lengths ensures appropriate offset restoration and range of motion.

  • Offers a highly polished surface for reduced friction against polyethylene liners.

Acetabular Shell (Cup)

  • A CoCrMo alloy component implanted into the pelvic bone to serve as the hip socket.

  • Features a porous-coated outer surface to facilitate bone ingrowth.

  • Can be secured with optional fixation screws, especially in cases with weak or osteoporotic bone.

Acetabular Liner

  • Manufactured from ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for enhanced wear resistance.

  • The liner provides a low-friction, stable interface for the femoral head, minimizing wear debris and extending implant life.

Key Features

🧩 Modular Design
Surgeons can choose from a wide array of stem sizes, head dimensions, and liner options to tailor the prosthesis to individual patient anatomy and surgical goals.

🦴 Biological Fixation Support
Cementless options with porous and hydroxyapatite coatings support natural bone ingrowth, delivering strong and lasting fixation.

🔄 Anatomical Biomechanics
Each component is engineered to mimic the natural kinematics of the hip joint, ensuring smooth motion, joint stability, and patient comfort.

🛡️ Durable Materials
Advanced alloys and polymers provide long-lasting wear resistance, lowering the risk of revision surgery and improving long-term outcomes.

The SOLVEX® Total Hip Prosthesis System represents a comprehensive solution for total hip arthroplasty—enhancing patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring quality of life through precision-engineered, modular innovation.
